Andrew Kent PalmerAndrew was a resident of Hollywood Hill, graduating from Woodinville High School in 2009.

He attended Colorado State University on an academic scholarship to the engineering department.

Andrew loved hiking with friends, classic rock music, wrenching on his e30, following F1 racing and cheering for the Cubs.

He was a black belt in Shudokan karate, training for over 10 years at Karate West in Issaquah.

As a devoted runner, Andrew lettered in both cross country and track at WHS and completed the Seattle Rock-n-Roll Marathon in 2009.

Having lost his father and grandfather at an early age, he understood the importance of family.

He was a loving son and brother and cared deeply for the many people he counted as friends and extended family.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Ginni, and stepfather, Steve Crawford; sister, Kate Palmer; stepsister, Erin (Andrew) Staffeld; stepbrother, Bryan Crawford; grandmother, Jean Sanborn; and faithful friend, Parker; along with aunts and uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

A memorial service was held at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville April 11 with a Missing Man Fly-By following. Donations may be made in Andrew’s memory to The Moyer Foundation or to the Woodinville High School cross country and track teams.
