Carol Lynn Eaton, 71, passed away on Nov. 3, 2015 at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington after many years of medical challenges. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of George T. and Corinne S. Eaton moved to the Woodinville/Bothell area in 1959 with her family.Obituary: EatonAfter attending and graduating from art school, Carol worked for a private counseling center in Bothell before going to work at Boeing. After 19 years of service at Boeing, Carol retired in 1999 to take care of her mother who had suffered a major stoke.She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Les (Bud) Eaton, and two nephews, G.R. Hicks, Jr. and Darryl J. Hicks.Carol is survived by two sisters, Nancy M. Eaton of Ilwaco and Sandra L. Lee of Bothell; sister-in-law Annette Eaton of Kenmore; niece Shelby Eaton; nephew Ross Eaton and wife April; great-nephews Marcus Eaton and Seth Eaton and great-nieces Sarah Eaton and Grace Eaton.A Celebration of Life will be held for Carol on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Kenmore Community Club located at 7304 NE 175th St. in Kenmore.Contributions in memory of Carol can be made to the Arthritis Foundation Great West Region, Inc., 115 NE 100th, Suite 350, Seattle, WA 98125.
