Obituary: Fisher

Marsiglia Rosi (Martha Fisher)Martha Fisher (94) was welcomed into heaven on July 17, 2016 when she peacefully passed away at Good Shepherd Home in Shoreline, Wash. Born Marsiglia Rosi on July 10, 1922 in Peckville, Pennsylvania, her name was changed to simply “Martha” in first grade. Her parents Nazareno and Tersilia Cesilioni Rosi, had five daughters with Martha being the middle child. After graduating from Blakey High School, Martha worked as a department store bookkeeper and in the Office of Strategic Services (now known as the CIA) in Washington, D.C., during WWII. Upon moving to Washington state in 1971 Martha worked as a bookkeeper at Ray Otto Company and Better Bottom Line in Bellevue until 1995. She retired from the Northshore School District at age 84 after having worked part time in the school cafeteria at Woodmore Elementary in Bothell, Wash.Obituary: FisherMartha is survived by one sister Marge Baldeschi, three children, William (Bill) Fisher, Anita (Mark) Quinn, and Wilma (Michael) Peck, eight grandchildren (Shiloh, Kelsey, Joelle, Conor, Michael, Kami, Natalie and Parker), four great grandchildren (Chloe, Mason, Brodie and baby girl Krabill) and her special nieces and nephews living on the East Coast, California, and Missouri. She was proceeded in death by her parents Nazareno and Tersilia Cesiloni Rosi, her husband William, her son John, and three sisters Gina Vegari, Mary Wascura, Muffy Baldeni. Martha was cremated and her ashes were placed with her husband and son at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Bellevue, Wash.A service honoring the life of Marsiglia Rosi is schedule for October 8th at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in Woodinville, Wash. at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
