Alta Bernice Frease
Born February 5, 1913 in Centralia, Wash. to Clarence and Ella Ipe.
Alta made her transition on May 5, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Bingham, later her second husband Millard Frease.
She grew up in Centralia where she met and married Cecil in March 1930. They later moved to Hoquiam where they stayed for a year, then moved to Shelton, where they lived for over 30 years. They then moved to Pacific Beach in Grays Harbor where Cecil retired. Cecil passed away in 1967; she stayed at Pacific Beach managing a motel for several years, then moved to Bellevue where she worked at Overlake Hospital.
She met Millard in 1971, they married in November 1971. They traveled to Yuma, Arizona for the winter and Soap Lake for part of the summer. Millard passed away in 1988. She leaves behind two daughters, Barbara Hiester and husband Bob of Duvall and Diane Campbell and husband Bill of Hoodsport. Also seven grandchildren; Steve Hiester and Cheryl of Maple Valley, Michael Hiester and Kathy of Cle Elum, Cathy Corlis and husband Arv of Duvall, Rachael Shannon and husband Gary of Poulsbo, Brandon Campbell and wife of Trinidad.
She enjoyed making baby quilts for her grandchildren and Hopelink in Carnation and also enjoyed going to the Sno-Valley Senior Center in Carnation where she went on "Burger Runs."
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Novelty Cemetery in Duvall.
