Carol Dianne Plough

Carol Dianne PloughCarol was the youngest of six children and grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.Lowell (her husband) accepted a job with Boeing, and the family moved west to Seattle in 1966. They then moved to Helena, Montana in 1968, and then moved back to Laurium, Michigan in 1969. The family moved back to the Seattle area in 1974, and settled in a home in Woodinville where they lived the last 43 years.She battled health trials for 40 years and despite the difficulties it brought, God blessed her with a positive disposition which was remembered by all who met her.Carol is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Lowell Thomas Plough. Her children Roger Plough (Iris) of Spokane, Christine Ojalehto (James) of Hanover, MN, Cheryl Hakso (Mark) of Lake Stevens, Mark Plough (Gretchen) of Snohomish, Carla Davison (Mark) of Snohomish, Corrine Wittenberg (Marv) of Monroe, Jeff Plough of Seattle, Catherine Plough of Grand Junction, CO, Charlotte Petaisto (Mikko) of New Castle, CO, Hazen Plough (Anna) of Masala, Finland, and Ward Plough (Mandy) of Longview. Her sisters Marianne Peterson and Kathleen Keplinger and brother John Sturos. Also 70 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her daughter Connie Suzanne Plough, brothers Robert Sturos and Thomas Sturos, and her parents Arne and Martha Sturos. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.This phrase from the serenity prayer typifies Carol Plough, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
