Klara Cossette

Klara CossetteKlara was born April 25, 1925, in the Ukraine near the Black Sea, but called Washington state her home for more than 46 years.

She met Ed Cossette in Germany and they were married 51 years.

Together they had three children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with another due in August.

Klara had a love of gardening that made her landscapes the envy of the neighborhood.

She would tell stories of her beloved Ukraine and the tragedies she survived during the war. She loved to read about history, spoke in three languages and enjoyed teaching the Russian language to others.

She is now at peace with the Lord and is survived by her two daughters, Laura "Randie" Debnam and Jackie (Mike) Strain of Cody, daughter-in-law Glenda Cossette of Sammamish Wash., grandchildren, John, Joel, Shannon, Matt and Sean.

She was preceded in death by her husband and son Don Cossette.
