Paul James (Jim) PedersenHe was stationed in San Diego, Calif., San Francisco, Calif., Korea, Seattle, Wash., and Whidbey Island, Wash.
In 1960 he married Sharron Dibble, resided in Seattle, worked for Damn Fine Printing and coached many years of youth basketball and baseball for the Magnolia Youth Association.
In 1985 Jim opened his own business, The Woodinville Print and Copy. Jim was an active member and past president of the Woodinville Rotary, served on the Woodinville Cemetery Commission and was a member of the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce until his retirement in 2002.
In 1994 he married Dora Darling. They made their home in Woodinville until 2002 when they relocated to Wenatchee, Wash. In 2009 they returned to Seattle, residing in the Bitter Lake neighborhood of Seattle.
Jim died at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul J. and Lovita F. (Bertrand) Pedersen.
Surviving are his loving wife, Dora; children, Lee W. and Scott A. (Erin) of Seattle, Traci L (Pedersen) Caligiuri of Lake Stevens; step-sons, Bryan K (Paula) Darling, of Houston, Texas, Kevin E (Darcalyn) Darling of Alexandria, Va.; sister Helen J. (Herbert)Phillips of Altoona, Iowa; brother, Roy A. (Roberta Oakley) of Marblehead, Mass.; and adoring grandchildren, Branden, Jaclyn, Reese and Beck.
Private services and burial will be held at a later time.
