Steven Ray Nicholl
Steve died unexpectedly in Dallas, Texas, of a heart attack at the age of 63. He was born to Roy and Francis Nicholl at Swedish Hospital in Seattle on January 17, 1947.
Steve grew up in Woodinville and graduated from Bothell High School in 1965. He received a BA in political science and broadcasting from the University of Washington and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967-1971.
At the time of his death he was the program director at KLIF Talk Radio in Dallas. Steve began his radio career in Seattle and also worked at stations in Tulsa, Miami, West Palm Beach and Portland. He will be remembered by his colleagues for his love of the business and his professionalism.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Jamie Jenson (Aaron); grandsons, Jarek and Joel of Bellingham; sister, Bonnie Sorg (Louis) of Woodinville; nephew, Michael Carlson of Woodinville; and niece Eileen Sorg (Scott) of Kingston.
A gathering of family and friends has been held.
