Luna Thanapakpawin, 8, picks up trash along the side of Northeast Woodinville Duvall Road near Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church on Monday, April 19. Her mother Porranee Thanapakpawin walks with her. Luna goes out 2-3 times a week to pick up trash in her area and often returns with two full bags. She recently asked her mom to share a video on social media of her picking up trash with a message about the need to work together to protect the planet. "We need to help our world," Luna says in the video. "We don't appreciate it the way we should! One way we can help is to reduce, reuse, recycle."
