Marilyn Merle (Williams) NicholasThe family moved to Lincoln and later to Fruitland, Idaho, then on to the Woodinville area where she met and in 1941, married Irving Nicholas.

The couple lived in Woodinville until 1990 when they moved to Wandering Creek Senior Park in Bothell. Marilyn remarried at Wandering Creek after Irving’s death in 1999.

Marilyn loved gatherings with family, participating in the life of the Woodinville Community United Methodist Church, travel and socializing with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Margie Bonk (Terry) of Medical Lake; sons, Gary (Lois) of Issaquah and Alan (Susan) of Bothell; and sister, Myrna Wing (Harold) of Oklahoma City. She has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren along with a variety of grand-dogs. We all loved her dearly.

The family thanks the staff of North Creek Assisted Living who provided skillful and compassionate care in her final days. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 18, at 1 p.m. at the Woodinville Community United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or your favorite charity.
