Woodinville Gives Back | Participate in the Spring Blood and Diaper Drive

April 21, 2023

Are you looking for ways to give back to the community this spring? Look no further. City Hall is partnering with the American Red Cross and WestSide Baby to host two drives that will serve as important opportunities to contribute to the well-being of those in need.

On Wednesday, May 3, in the Council Chambers at Woodinville City Hall, friends at the American Red Cross will help us host a blood drive. Donating blood is a critical way to support local hospitals and ensure they have the necessary resources to care for needy patients. The City of Woodinville is proud to support this vital cause and hopes community members will donate.

Register for a blood donation appointment by visiting: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=Woodinville.

Appointment slots are open but limited. If you cannot donate this time, watch for future blood drives at City Hall.

Additionally, City Hall is hosting a diaper and wipes drive through the summer to help support needy children. WestSide Baby is an organization that envisions a day when each child is equipped with the basic items they need to grow into healthy, happy, and resilient members of our community. We are here to support that vision.

Donations are being accepted at City Hall Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The donation drop box is direct across from the Woodinville Police counter.

The blood and diaper drives are part of Woodinville's ongoing commitment to supporting the community and giving back in meaningful ways. Community members are encouraged to participate in both events in any way and help support the important work being done to build a stronger, more resilient community for all.
