DUI Arrest – NE 145th St / 148th Ave NE – On May 26, 2023, around 9 p.m., a driver called 911 to report a possible drunk driver around Woodinville’s Wine Country. A deputy located the vehicle in downtown Woodinville and confirmed the erratic driving. The driver could not stand for field sobriety tests and was too physically sick to provide a breath test. They were referred to the prosecutor for DUI.
Drug Overdose – 13300 NE 173rd St – On May 27, 2023, around 3:17 a.m., a family member reported the subject intentionally took a fentanyl pill in an attempt to commit suicide. Deputies responded with medical personnel and the patient was committed to the hospital for medical and mental health treatment.
Shoplift – 14000 NE Wood-Duvall Rd – On May 28, 2023, just after 6 p.m., an unknown suspect walked into a retail business and made off with almost $500 of products in about five minutes. Video footage was forwarded to detectives.
Hit and Run Arrest – 19600 144th Ave NE – On May 30, 2023, at 4:57 p.m., a disgruntled suspect intentionally backed his car into another in a parking lot and fled. There were witnesses and camera footage. A deputy tracked down the driver and charged them with Hit and Run. This case was forwarded to the prosecutor.
Order Violation Arrest – 14000 NE 181st St – On May 31, 2023, around 8 a.m., a detective was conducting an in-person investigation when a person the victim had a No Contact Order against phoned them in the detective’s presence. The suspect was referred for prosecution of the order violation.
Cold Sexual Assault – 17500 164th Ave NE – On May 31, 2023, a victim called to report ongoing sexual assaults that allegedly occurred over two decades ago when they were a child. They presented evidence to these assaults and the case has been referred to the Special Assault Unit.
Medical Assist – 15900 Wood-Red Rd NE – On June 1, 2023, at 4:57 p.m., an outdoor worker suffered a sudden cardiac event and CPR was being performed. Deputies arrived within a couple minutes and jumped into action with an AED, as the patient had no pulse. Deputies shocked the patient with the defibrillator and medical personnel arrived and continued lifesaving treatment. A heartbeat was detected again, and the patient was transported to the hospital.

Robbery Arrests – 13900 NE 175th St – On May 18, 2023, just before 3 a.m, a deputy saw a suspicious car backed up to an open business, with masked suspects loading the car with items from the store. At least some of them were armed with handguns. Within a couple minutes, several units, including from neighboring city agencies, were on scene and had made two quick arrests. Guardian 1, K9 units and a drone were deployed and an additional suspect was found hiding nearby after running. One additional suspect is outstanding, but the investigation is very active. The suspect vehicle and a recovered firearm were both reported stolen. Two juveniles and one adult were booked for investigation of Robbery 1, with additional charges pending. The fourth and only outstanding suspect has been positively identified by detectives through interagency cooperation and charges are pending. The other three suspects remain incarcerated.
