John MiglioreWhen John gave up farming, he built homes around Bothell and in Seattle.

Eventually he "retired" to Molbak’s.

In 2003, State Senator Rosemary McAuliffe declared that a portion of 108th Ave. NE would receive the designation, "Via Migliore" in honor of Johnny’s contribution of land to connect Bothell with Maywood Hills. For many years John rode horses in Bothell’s July 4th parade and he was once grand marshall.

Johnny was tall, strong and handsome, and a kind man of exceptional character.

"Papa" was devoted to his family, and they loved him deeply in return.

He is survived by his beloved Concetta; daughters, Dianne Russell and JoAnne (Tom) Porter; granddaughters, Lianna (David) Cariker, Johanna (Jamie) Zyskowski, Maria Porter; grandsons, Christopher (Chasity) Porter, Anthony Porter; great-grandchildren, Christina, Cassandra, Lillian, Scarlet, Thomas, Juniper, Emma, Austin and Bailey.

Rosary will be recited Friday, May 6, at 9:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 10053 NE 195th, Bothell.

Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery, 1554 15th Ave. E., Seattle.
