Rosemary Zeutschel

Rosemary ZeutschelShe was born August 11, 1932, in Cook, Illinois. Her father was the production manager for the Wall Street Journal.She met and married Ronald Peter Zeutschel in 1954.They moved to Iowa, Portland and eventually onto Seattle. They settled in Woodinville during 1973.Rosemary graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois in the 1950s with a degree in elementary teaching. She taught in various capacities for almost 20 years.Rosemary was a champion of rural living and participated in community activism in the Woodinville area for many years.She was the administrative aide for King County Councilmember Brian Derdowski in the 1990s. Up until a few months ago she still enjoyed working as a medical transcriptionist.Rosemary is survived by her son, David Heron, his wife Hollis Heron and her daughter and husband Gareth and Molly Rolitt.She became a great- grandmother in January 2013 to Jack Donovan Rollitt.Rosemary is also survived by her daughter, Amy Zeutschel MacDonald and her husband Eric MacDonald of Woodinville and their two children Zoe (5 years old) and Zachary (4 years old).She found immense joy in her family and "Grandma Z" will be missed.A memorial service will be held at Barton’s Funeral Home in Kirkland at 11a.m. August 30th.
