Lena D. Smith

Lena D. Smith, a longtime resident of Duvall, passed away Sept. 5, 2014 at the Regency Care Center in Monroe after a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 12, 1915 in Union, Ore. to William Louis and Kathleen Lydia (Thompson) Snively. She lived in Oregon, Idaho and Washington, moving to the Cherry Gardens area of Duvall in 1943.Lena was preceded in death by her parents; several siblings; three husbands, William D. Howes; Harley E. Lankins and W. Albert R. Smith; and two grandsons.Lena D. SmithA Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Oct. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. at King County Fire Station 45 in Duvall.
