Claire Ann (Laffin) Klanderud

Claire Ann Klanderud passed away on Feb 4, 2010. She was born to Thomas and Nola Laffin on Aug 21, 1939, in Seattle, Wash.

Claire was raised and spent most of her life in Redmond, Wash.

In 1952 she dedicated her life by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In 1958 she graduated from Lake Washington High School.

She worked for Bellevue School District as a school payroll clerk until she retired in 1992.

She enjoyed playing the steel guitar, pinochle, knitting and camping.

She loved her recipes and canning. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Claire is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Orozco (Jesse) and Leanne Aumell (Tim); grandchildren, Teresa Jenkins (Dan), Ramon Orozco, Amanda Aumell, and Luke Aumell; great-grandchildren: Jaslyn and Jade Jenkins.

Services were held Feb 13 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Woodinville, Wash.
