Katherine Mae GriffinShe died in grace March 9, 2010.

Kaye attended Holy Names Academy, Seattle University and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Washington.

She was a special education teacher for Northshore School District and wasan accomplished violist. She played in the Seattle Youth Symphony, as well as other local orchestras.

Kaye served as president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and was an executive officer for the Woodinville Multi-Service Center.

She was a resident of Woodinville for over 50 years and raised her family on a small farm where the Barnes & Noble book store stands today.

Kaye is survived by her sister, Margaret Naranjo; 10 children, Margaret, Mike, Jim, Steve, Lynda, Kathi, Frank, Lisa, Carolyn and David; nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

In honor of Kaye, donations may be made to Seattle University or the University of Washington.

A wake will be held March 19 at 3 p.m. at Crystal Lake Lodge. 23909 Crystal Lake Road Woodinville.
